Avison Young Adds Workplace Consulting Team Leader in Chicago

Avison Young has added Michelle Osburn as principal and senior director to become the firm’s U.S. Workplace Consulting team leader, based in Chicago. She will lead the team to continue expanding, strengthening, developing the practice and advising clients on how to best support their people and their business. 

“Michelle’s consulting background is a unique combination of workplace strategy, change management, business operations, technology and innovation – a strategic enhancement to our growing professional services practice,” said Sheila Botting, principal and president, Americas Professional Services. “Michelle will chart new pathways to help our clients navigate the shifting dynamics of the ever-changing hybrid work environment.” 

Osburn brings more than 25 years of project management, consulting and workplace realignment experience to Avison Young. She worked at Perkins&Will for more than 10 years, leading its workplace strategy practice in Chicago with a wide variety of clients including United, Underwriters Laboratories, Waste Management and KPMG.

About Paul Bubny

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism. His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
