Avison Young Acquires Phoenix’s Strategic Retail Group

Avison Young broadened its presence in Arizona by acquiring Strategic Retail Group (SRG), which is located in Phoenix. The new brokerage addition will work in tandem with Avison Young’s already established property management services in the state.

Effective immediately, SRG has been rebranded as Avison Young. SRG’s Matt Milinovich, James DeCremer and David Jarand are Avison Young Principals, with a mandate to manage and grow the company’s retail brokerage practice in Arizona. Also joining are Matt Schrauth, Josh Stewart, Peter McQuaid, Kristina Remon, Alec Miller and Dena Brown. They will work with Avison Young’s David Genovese and Mark Seale.

“For the past year, Mark Seale and I have wanted to expand our retail presence in Arizona and beyond,” Genovese said. “We have known Matt, James and David personally and professionally for years; more importantly, we have respected the positive reputation SRG has earned within the retail brokerage community.”
