Avison Team Tapped to Lease Up Westbury Offices

The New York City office of Avison Young, in collaboration with the firm’s Long Island office, was hired to lease up 900 Merchants Concourse, a four-story, 153,000-square-foot multi-tenant office building in Westbury, NY, within Long Island’s Nassau County. Current availabilities range from 2,000 square feet to more than 10,000 square feet.

A cross-office Avison Young team led by Manhattan-based Todd Korren along with Long Island-based Ted Stratigos and Amanda Gorozdi will oversee leasing efforts for the property on behalf of its ownership, Vectra Management Group, and Hornig Capital Partners.

Korren said, “Even before the dramatic shift in the office sector on account of the pandemic, we recognized an evolution towards regionalization and saw that many companies were establishing satellite offices closer to where employees live for cost savings, but more importantly as a recruitment and retention tool. We believe 900 Merchants Concourse is ideally suited to address this trend.”
