Avison Team Sells O’Hare Industrial Portfolio

Avison Young represented Brennan Investment Group in the sale of an industrial portfolio in Mt. Prospect, IL, within the O’Hare submarket. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed.

The firm’s Erik Foster, Mike Wilson, Chris Lydon and Chris Tecu represented Chicago-based Brennan in selling the 182,298-square-foot portfolio at 1900 and 2000 Carboy Rd. to San Francisco-based Glen Una Management Company.
The two-building, multi-tenant portfolio is 90% leased. When the Elgin-O’Hare Expressway expansion is completed, the portfolio will offer convenient access to the airport.

“Investors continue to focus on the O’Hare industrial market, which has seen significant investment, leasing, and development activity in recent years,” said Foster.

In addition to the Carboy Drive sale, there were 91 industrial properties totaling 12.3 million square feet sold in the Chicago region in the first quarter, according to Avison Young.
