Avison Markets NoLiTa Retail Condo

Avison Young’s New York Capital Markets Group has been hired to sell a retail condominium located at 262 Mott St.in the NoLiTa section of Lower Manhattan. James Nelson, Avison’s head of tri-state investment sales, is leading the effort along with Brent Glodowski and Henry Post.

Totaling 5,831 square feet of ground-floor property, the five individual condo units are fully leased by Fjällräven USA, Tai Jewelry, TAGS, the Rebecca Hossack Gallery and Flannel. The unidentified current ownership of 262 Mott is replacing the mechanical systems for all of the retail units.

“This is the right time to market efficiently-sized condominium units that provide unique retailers access to the dynamic millennial market,” said Nelson. “The small store experience is something we’re really excited about, and will definitely see more of in the future in terms of retail’s ever-changing model.”
