Avison Duo Negotiates Relocation in Energy Corridor

Avison Young recently negotiated a long-term, 21,091-square-foot office lease on behalf of consulting civil engineering firm Van De Wiele & Vogler, at One Eldridge within Houston’s Energy Corridor.

A Houston-based Avison team of Anthony Squillante and Josh Morrow represented the tenant. The landlord, Granite Properties, was represented in-house by Jon Dutton.

At One Eldridge, Squillante said, Van De Wiele & Vogler’s employees “will enjoy a quality Granite Properties office building that is amenity-rich and is easily accessible.”

The firm will be expanding its office footprint from 12,136 square feet at Granite’s 2925 Briarpark. The company will move approximately 50 employees to the fifth floor of its new location in the third quarter.

Headquartered in Plano, Granite acquired One Eldridge last year as part of its $78.4-million acquisition of the three-building Eldridge Place complex from TIER REIT.
