AvalonBay buys Austin townhome project, building another

AvalonBay Buys Austin Townhome Community, Building Another

AvalonBay has made a grand entrance to Austin. The publicly traded development company began construction of its first Austin development, Avalon Tech Ridge. The Austin Business Journal reports the townhouse project at 14100 John Henry Faulk Drive will have 444 units consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and three—and four-bedroom townhomes. The units will average 1,036 square feet, with the first move-ins of the three-phase project expected in the first quarter of 2026. AvalonBay is handling general contractor services for Tech Ridge.

Avalon Townhomes at Bee Cave is the name of the townhome development AvalonBay has purchased. The property, formerly known as Brisa Townhomes, consists of 122 three—and four-bedroom townhomes at 4810 Brisa Way. It was built in 2022. The seller was The NRP Group.
