Two months after filing for another bankruptcy, the owners of the Cowboys Dance Hall honkytonk on San Antonio’s north side have put the property on the market. Owner Cowboys Far West requested the bankruptcy court permission to hire Texas Heritage Brokers to market the venue and the 16 acres on which it sits.

The locale at 3030 N.E. Interstate 410 Loop is popular; country music star Blake Shelton played a free “pop-up” show there last month. However, the ownership has been struggling to make its mortgage and property tax payments. Cowboys Far West sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection two times to avoid a sale of the venue at a foreclosure auction.

Texas Heritage Brokers is listing the 67,850-square-foot property for $12 million. According to the listing agent, the venue will continue operations.
