AutoZone to Open 33K-SF Mega Hub Location in Austin
Automotive parts and accessories retailer AutoZone has leased 33,000 square feet of space in Southridge Plaza, a retail center located at 500 W. William Cannon at S. 1st Street, for its first Austin ‘mega hub’ store.
AutoZone’s mega hub stores offer an expanded selection of parts and accessories. The mega hub locations can also help fulfill orders for nearby stores and customers. At Southridge Plaza, the new AutoZone location joins a tenant lineup that includes Dollar Tree, Fred Loya Insurance, Sherwin Williams, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Wingstop and several others. The new lease backfills 33,000 square feet of a former 46,000-square-foot H-E-B.
Cam Longmire and Gabe Sanchez of Weitzman represented the landlord in lease negotiations. Local broker Edwin Williams represented AutoZone.
