Liberty Hill site for 106 acre mixed-use project

Austin-Area Suburb Looking to Land Big Retail Players

Liberty Hill, a town of 6,800 residents NW of Austin, is hoping to become more of a player in the area’s expanding metro area. A major mixed-use development project is coming to the corner of the intersection at U.S. Highway 183 and State Highway 29, about 30 minutes outside Austin.

The land consists of 106 acres that is expected to be home to several big box retailers, quick service restaurants, multi-family housing and more. There are two multi-family projects under contract that take up about one-third of the available land.

Pohl Jensen Partners is developing the project. Jennifer Jensen has more, “All the U.S. Highway 183 frontage will be home to major retail. We are actively in negotiations with four different big box stores that are household names. We can’t disclose who they are at this point, but they will be a great asset to the community.” Jensen says she hopes to break ground in four months.
