Aurora, Wharton Reposition Fifth Avenue Office Building
Aurora Capital and Wharton Properties have announced the completion of the repositioning of 511 Fifth Ave., an 18-story Beaux Arts building in Midtown.
The building underwent a comprehensive redevelopment, including new infrastructure, renovated lobbies, and the introduction of amenities such as an 18th-floor penthouse with double-height ceilings and a mezzanine, a 9,000-square-foot amenity space, and pre-built office suites.
JLL has been appointed as the exclusive leasing agent for the 160,000-square-foot property, which is located steps from Grand Central Terminal and Bryant Park. The repositioning aimed to transform the historic building into a modern office space while preserving its historic façade.
