Audubon Engineering Moves to Larger Offices
Audubon Engineering needed 10,000 more square feet. That’s the difference between its recently occupied new offices and the ones they just left at 10105 Westheimer Road.
The engineering, procurement and construction company has just started occupying 71,879 square feet at its new primary corporate office. The four-story office building at 3505 W. Sam Houston Parkway N. was built in 2013 and has 227,045 square feet of rentable space with floor-to-ceiling windows.
In what is becoming a growing trend, the company was looking for better amenities. Amenities include a full-service café, a fitness center and an outdoor courtyard with seating. Tenants can park in an adjacent parking garage. Engineering firm Baker Hughes also cited the need for more and better amenities when it recently moved into a new HQ into Energy Center II.
Overall, the company, which started up in 1997, employs nearly 2,000 engineering, technical, field and administrative professionals.
