Auction.com Sells OR Tech Complex for $21M

Irvine-based Auction.com’s commercial real estate transaction website recently hosted the $21 million sale of the Eugene, Oregon Technology Center, a vacant 1.2-million-square-foot tech office center. Singapore-based semiconductor firm Avago Technologies purchased the property, while the seller was SK Hynix, a semiconductor company based in South Korea.

Binswanger Technology Group represented the buyer, while JLL was the broker for the seller. The deal reportedly closed within 30 days, and had three strong bidders. The facility, which closed six years ago, includes three class A office buildings.

Avago Technologies also recently purchased Irvine chipmaker Broadcom Corp. to create the third largest chipmaker in the world under the name of Broadcom Ltd.
