Atwell’s Austin Office Promotes Larry Cole to Project Manager

The Austin office of Atwell, a national consulting, design, engineering and construction services firm based in Michigan, has promoted Larry Cole to Project Manager in the firm’s real estate and land development division. Cole will be responsible for managing project coordination and execution, developing project objectives, guiding his team’s deliverables, providing quality control, maintaining project budgets and schedules, and managing and developing client relationships. Atwell is a national consulting, engineering, and construction services firm.

Cole comes to the position with more than 30 years of experience in the surveying field and a diverse project portfolio that includes residential and commercial developments to transmission lines and wind farms, as well as marine surveying. Prior to Atwell, he worked nearly 10 years as Chief of Crews where he managed survey crews and regularly updated clients for subdivision projects throughout Texas.

About Erik Hamilton

Erik Hamilton, who has more than 15 years in CRE journalism, is a former staff writer with the Los Angeles Times and the Orange County Business Journal. In addition to The Times and the OCBJ, he was also a reporter and editor for Crittenden Research, The San Bernardino Sun and UPI. Erik also worked six years in CRE public relations with Los Angeles-based Hoyt Organization, where he was a Senior Account Executive. He later joined Lee & Associates where he served as the Director of Corporate Communications. There ,in addition to his work with Lee’s CEO, he managed 57 offices nationwide and provided PR, social media and media training for the offices. A graduate of UC Irvine, with a BA in history, he is an avid record collector where he continues to search for a rare Joy Division single.
