AT&T Leases Space to Accommodate Back-to-Office Mandate

Reversing an earlier decision, AT&T is expanding its office space with a 120,000-square-foot lease at 1277 Lenox Park Blvd. in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. The building has 152,000 square feet of space.

This deal marks a return to a building the company left more than five years ago. Since that time, the property was purchased in 2018 by Bridge Commercial Real Estate for $225 million. It’s been renovated since AT&T last occupied the space. AT&T has retained offices at 1025 and 1055 Lenox Park Blvd.

AT&T is requiring 60,000 managers to work a hybrid schedule, returning to the office three days each week. It has announced plans to consolidate its offices into hubs in Atlanta and Dallas. With the return-to-office plan in place, the telecom giant returned to 1277 Lenox to ensure all employees required to be in the office could be accommodated.
