Roswell mixed-use project to go on city land

Atlantic Cos. Scoping Roswell Mixed-Use Project

Out with the old, in with the new. The Atlantic Cos. is set to begin construction on a mixed-use project in Roswell, Georgia that will transform the downtown. The venture is expected to include apartments, new restaurants, an open-air public plaza and more.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports the city will own and operate the parking, creating a consistent revenue source, and own the land upon which the commercial portion of the project will sit. The Atlantic Cos. will then make ground-lease payments on that land.

The Hill Street development, located across the street from City Hall, will cover a total of roughly 8 acres. The Atlantic Cos. plans to build 143 apartment units with a clubhouse and related amenities on its land. There will be 80,000 square feet available for restaurants, retail and office tenants. ASD | SKY will serve as the architect of this Roswell project.
