Atlanta’s ShareMD Buys Three Healthcare Facilities for $46M
Alpharetta, GA-based ShareMD, a healthcare real estate and physician practice solution company, has closed escrow on three healthcare facilities for a combined $46 million.
The firm purchased two multi-tenant medical office buildings in Boynton Beach, FL totaling approximately 100,000 square feet and a 35,000-square-foot multi-tenant medical office building in Vista, CA.
Easton Group represented ShareMD for the two FL purchases, while Cushman & Wakefield represented ShareMD for the CA purchase. The purchase was financed by a loan from Prime Finance. Greenberg Traurig provided legal counsel, and title services were provided by Chicago Title.
The company is funded by private equity firm Martis Capital.
The latest buy represents nine medical office properties purchased by ShareMD in the past 18 months and increases ShareMD’s total portfolio to 18 properties and more than 1.1 million square feet of owned healthcare real estate assets in FL (900,000 square feet) and CA (210,000 square feet).
