Atlanta’s Iconic Peachtree Tower Trades Hands

Chicago-based Zeller Realty Group acquired 100 Peachtree, one of Atlanta’s most-recognized and iconic office towers. The 33-story, 622,084-square-foot building was sold by Five Mile Capital Partners and Equitable Real Estate Partners for reportedly in the $80- to $90 million range.

CBRE’s Will Yowell, Jay O’Meara and Justin Parsonnet represented the sellers. Zeller was represented in-house by Bill Rogalla and Mark Vollbrecht. It is Zeller’s second acquisition in Atlanta, having recently picked up Premier Plaza.

CBRE’s Will Yowell says, “Atlanta is a top investment market, with the second-highest percentage of job growth and a low cost of doing business, all reasons why investor interest in 100 Peachtree was strong.”

The 82% leased Downtown Atlanta building underwent an extensive renovation over the last five years, including complete window replacement with LEED compliance, a restored lobby, re-energized plaza area, tenant build-outs and major mechanical replacements.
