Atlanta’s Campus 244 Locks in Marriott Bonvoy Boutique Hotel
Campus 244, a redevelopment in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter submarket (Dunwoody), is off and running with the inking of a 145-key Element Hotel. The 1-million-square-foot mixed-use project includes a 400,000-square-foot, Class A adaptive reuse office building and 25,000 square feet restaurant space.
Campus 244 is situated on 13 acres adjacent to the Dunwoody MARTA, on the site of the former Gold Kist headquarters. Owner-developers The Georgetown Company and RocaPoint Partners, also owners of the $500-million development Halcyon in Alpharetta, purchased the site in 2020.
“In recent years, heavy investment in the Central Perimeter market has stimulated job growth and attracted a hub of major Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies from across the Southeast,” said Phil Mays, principal at RocaPoint Partners. “As the momentum in the submarket has continued to grow, we are capitalizing on the opportunity to deliver a unique and totally reimagined transit-oriented campus.”
Yenser Co., is managing retail leasing for the project.
