Atlanta-Area Multifamily Hits Record Mark for Per-Unit Price: Seller
Atlanta-based Vista Realty Partners has completed the $63 million sale of Carmel Vista Apartments in McDonough, GA, to Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. According to Vista, the transaction represents the highest cost-per-unit ($276,316) sale in Henry County.
The 228-unit, Class A project opened in February 2021 and stabilized in less than six months. “The rapid success of the project is proof of the pent up and growing demand for new, Class A rental housing options in the Henry County market,” said Michael Neyhart, managing director of Vista’s Georgia division.
The property location in the burgeoning Atlanta suburb of McDonough offers access to the I-75 and I-285 corridor along with South Atlanta’s employment, entertainment and cultural centers.
