Association Reserves Launches Condo Health Database

Association Reserves Launches Condo Health Database

Association Reserves, a Westlake Village, CA-based reserve study provider has debuted Association Insights and Marketplace (AIM), an online database that identifies over 400,000 association-based communities. Using AIM, Boards of Directors can learn their Financial, Physical and Operational (FiPhO) health score at no cost.

“Last year’s tragic collapse of the Champlain Towers Condo in Surfside, Florida is the most extreme example of what can happen when deferred maintenance is combined with an underfunded reserve account,” said Robert Nordlund, CEO of Association Reserves. “Pioneering the FiPhO health score was the natural extension of three decades of expertise in reserve funding.”

The FiPhO health score, a term coined by AIM, distills the financial, physical and operational health of an HOA to a single number. The database is a tool to improve the overall health of shared-ownership communities as well as help interpret a vast array of real estate disclosures for the benefit of buyers and their agents.
