Aspen Heights Starts $40M Cottage-Style Student Community near USF
Aspen Heights Partners has started construction on Aspen Heights Tampa, which will consist of 67 units between two- and three-story boutique cottage/townhome style buildings. The $40-million student housing project is one mile from the University of South Florida campus.
“We’ve been seeing a strong demand in the South Florida market, which has become very attractive to incoming students eager to socialize and learn in an in-person setting once again, while experiencing the beautiful Florida weather,” said David Helfrich, president of development at Aspen Heights Partners.
Aspen Heights Tampa will include two-story row homes in clusters of four- or six-unit buildings located on the northern tract. On the southern tract, there will be three stories in two rows of seven and eight units. A quarter of the units will include four bedrooms while the remaining majority will be five-bedroom units.
Aspen Heights Tampa is slated to open in the fall of 2022.
