Asian Lifestyle Brand Teso to Open Two Portland-Area Stores

Teso Life, a fast-growing Japanese-style lifestyle retail chain, is planning to open two stores in the Portland area.

The New York-based Japanese fashion casual life product company sells Asian health and beauty products, home goods, toys and more. The chain operates 20 stores nationwide and plans to open stores in Beaverton and Southeast Portland, reported the Portland Business Journal.

A list of stores on the company’s website lists that a location at 10548 S.E. Washington St. will open this month and another at 4005 S.W. 117th Ave. in Beaverton will open in May.

The Southeast Portland store is at Plaza 205, a retail center east of Interstate 205 anchored by a recently opened 99 Ranch Asian supermarket. The Beaverton store is a former Joann Fabric location. The chain opened its first Washington store in Seattle last year and recently signed a lead for a second in Tukwila.
