Ashland Cold Storage, Mural Project Nears Completion

Karis Cold and NAI Hiffman continue to make progress on 3815 S. Ashland Ave., a 100,000-square-foot project that will be Chicago’s first cold-storage facility to offer a 50-foot clear height.

Construction is expected to be completed by July. A project four years in the making, Karis Cold Stockyards will provide a new option for end users seeking cold storage space in downtown Chicago. The NAI Hiffman leasing team for Karis Cold Stockyards includes John Basile, Alex Sutterer and Packy Doyle.

The property will have 14 exterior docks, one drive-in door, 46 auto spaces, 13 trailer stalls, and a 4,951-square-foot office. The development will also feature a mural that is being created on the façade by David Banegas, a professional artist.
