Ascentris-Cypress Inks HQ Deal with Student Housing Investment Firm
Denver-based Ascentris, and joint venture partner, San Diego-based Cypress Office Properties, signed a new 20,000-square-foot lease with NB Private Capital at The Cascades in Aliso Viejo. The corporate headquarters deal with the privately held student housing investment company marks the first new tenant to the property since the partnership acquired it in March 2020.
Previously known as Summit V, The Cascades is now 69% leased. The 252,000-square-foot Class A office campus is comprised of two buildings on 9.3 acres at 20-30 Enterprise.
Ascentris-Cypress engaged Gensler to design an extensive interior and exterior improvement plan for The Cascades that is expected to be complete in summer 2021.
Cypress Office Properties’ Ron Lack says, “We are excited to start our renovation project and offer our current and future tenants a dynamic and collaborative work environment in one of the best locations within South Orange County.”
CBRE’s Carol Trapani, Allison Kelly and Jake Stickel represented both tenant and landlord.
