Ascendant Likes Response for New Dallas-Area Rental Units

Ascendant Development has completed construction on Haven at Mansfield, a 257-unit luxury multifamily community located at 269 N State Hwy 360 in Mansfield, TX. Commercial Edge reports Ascendant started work on the project in 2021; a $29 million loan from Amerant Bank financed its construction.

Ascendant is pleased with the early activity. “Haven at Mansfield is already 35% preleased at rents well above proforma and on track for a very successful lease-up,” stated Ascendant’s Richard Owen.

Designed by EDI International, Haven at Mansfield encompasses three four-story buildings with studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 634 to 1,270 square feet. Apartments feature in-unit washers and dryers, walk-in closets, energy-efficient LED lighting, smart lock systems and stainless appliances, along with private balconies or patios for select layouts. Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, yoga studio and 24-hour fitness center, grilling stations and package lockers.
