Ascend Elements Signs 100K-SF in Devens 

Ascend Elements, a company specializing in sustainable lithium-ion battery materials, has signed a lease for a 101,000-square-foot building at 39 Jackson Road in King Street Properties’ Pathway Devens campus in Devens, Massachusets.  

This lease marks the full lease-up of the first phase of the Pathway Devens development. Ascend Elements will use the location as its world headquarters and tech center. The company has also started construction on a $1 billion manufacturing facility in Kentucky. The company’s patented Hydro-to-Cathode direct precursor synthesis technology has received funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and other private sources. 

John Carroll III and Kevin Brawley of Colliers represented Ascend Elements in the transaction and Brian McKenzie and Alex Plaistead of CBRE represented King Street properties.
