Asana More Than Triples Footprint at 3 World Trade Center
Work management platform Asana Inc. has more than tripled its office footprint at Silverstein Properties’ 3 World Trade Center. The company signed a 44,000-square-foot lease expansion and will occupy 61,000 square feet.
“The World Trade Center is the perfect home for fast-growing technology companies,” said Jeremy Moss, EVP of leasing at Silverstein Properties. “Successful dynamic companies like Asana, Spotify and Uber have the real estate flexibility they need to grow, and the perfect location from which to compete for talent. As companies adapt to post-pandemic life and plan for their future, well-located, accessible, sustainable and high tech buildings like 3 WTC will continue to be their workplace of choice.”
Silverstein Properties said the expansion reflects New York City’s continued recovery post-pandemic, particularly Lower Manhattan. According to Downtown Alliance, Lower Manhattan was the fourth-fastest growing neighborhood in New York City in 2021, and last year saw leasing activity recover as well.
