Asana acquires Tampa retail center

Asana Adds to Tampa Portfolio

Asana Partners has purchased a Carrollwood retail center for $36 million. CPI Limited was the seller. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that CPI bought the property in 2001 for $12.4 million.

The shopping center, called Grand Plaza, is on North Dale Mabry Highway. It was built in 1985. It is 105,500 square feet and occupies over 9.5 acres.

Asana’s Tampa portfolio includes the mixed-use project, Bayshore Gardens, several warehouses in North Hyde Park and an assemblage in the SoHo district, the historic office building at 1304 S. DeSoto Ave. and a surface parking lot at 2307 W. Mississippi Ave.

In Charlotte, the developer is a partner in the $250 million redevelopment of Duke Energy’s former headquarters.
