ASA Apple Inc. signed a lease for 181,000 square feet of industrial space at 55 Wildcat Dr. in Linden, NJ.

“Our client needed a NJ Turnpike-accessible location proximate to its other facilities in and around the Port Newark-Elizabeth area,” said Richard Mirliss, for Colliers International, which represented the tenant in the transaction.

CBRE represented Prologis, the property owner. “This property fulfilled its geographic requirements, along with above-standard trailer parking, which was another prerequisite.”

Availability continues to tighten in New Jersey’s port submarket, and all along the NJ Turnpike corridor. “It is becoming more challenging to find product that satisfies specific tenant needs at acceptable financial terms,” said Mirliss.
