Arts Group Inks 10-Year Lease in West Chelsea
Douglaston Development’s property management affiliate, Clinton Management, has signed a 5,200-square-foot, 10-year lease with the International Print Center, a nonprofit arts institution, at 535 W. 24th St. in the West Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.
Clinton Management represented the landlord in the transaction. Alf Naman of Alf Naman Real Estate Advisors Ltd. represented the tenant.
“Amidst the challenges the pandemic posed on the arts, leasing velocity for art gallery spaces has and continues to increase and we’re thrilled to be able to provide spaces for those operations,” said Ryan O’Connor, president & CEO of Clinton Management.
When the space opens this summer, International Print Center will utilize its space to display a myriad of prints crafted by emerging, established, national and international artists. The new tenant is replacing the Bruce Lederman Gallery, the space’s previous occupant. The property’s 6,000-square-foot second floor is currently available for lease.
