Artis REIT to Buy Prime Therapeutics’ New Minnesota HQ for $100M

Canada’s Artis REIT is acquiring an under-construction HQ for Prime Therapeutics in Eagan, MN from developer United Properties for $98.5 million. The campus at 2900 Ames Crossing Rd., is part of a two-building project 10 miles south of St. Paul.

The initial 225,000-square-foot office building is slated to deliver this month, with a second 160,000-square-foot phase anticipated to be completed by September 2019. The two buildings, which will be connected by a hub, will house Prime Therapeutics information technology and operations groups.

The new 30-acre facility allows the company to consolidate four Twin Cities offices, including two in Eagan, and two others in Mendota Heights and Edina. Another office in Bloomington will remain in operation.
