Art Gallery Leases 30K-SF at the Malt House in West Harlem

Gavin Brown Enterprises, a world-renowned art gallery, opened a 30,000-square-foot gallery at 439 W. 127th St., also known as the Malt House, in Manhattanville’s Factory District, a few blocks from Columbia University in the West Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan.

The 185,000-square-foot project offers large floors plus several outdoor areas totaling an additional 25,000 square feet. The building offers users a combination of dramatic old brewery interiors featuring cast iron columns, brick vaulted ceilings and multi-story spaces, with state-of-the-art new construction.

Jon Fales of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord in the transaction.
