Arrow Team Secures $30M Financing for Neighborhood Bronx Retail

Arrow Real Estate Advisors arranged $30 million in refinancing for a neighborhood retail center located in the Bronx. The financing was provided by a leading life insurance company lender and will support the ownership’s ongoing operational initiatives while positioning the property for long-term success. The financing execution was led by founder and managing partner Morris Betesh, SVP Jack McPhail and senior associate Alex Ellman.

The center is currently 95% occupied with a diverse mix of national and regional tenants. It provides strong in-place cash flow with meaningful upside potential through strategic re-leasing or future redevelopment. Continued multifamily development in the area, coupled with limited large-scale retail availability, reinforces the property’s role as a key commercial destination.

“Despite today’s cautious lending environment, we were able to leverage our deep market knowledge and lender relationships to deliver favorable loan terms that reflect the asset’s strength and the sponsor’s vision,” said Betesh.
