Arizona’s Skyway Commons Debuts 25% Pre-Leased

Phase I of Skyway Commons, a spec 110,221-square-foot industrial development in Surprise, AZ is now 25% pre-leased. Two lease agreements with two national credit tenants, Pennsylvania-based Hajoca and Arizona-based RideNow Powersports, total nearly 26,000 square feet.

JLL’s Riley Gilbert, Anthony Lydon and John Lydon represented the building owner, Silagi Development & Management.

“Phoenix’s far West submarkets are known for their near-insatiable demand for big-box industrial inventory, but there is an equally active mid-size market requiring modern, Class A industrial product that has a very narrow set of options to accommodate their requirements,” said Gilbert. “Silagi recognized this gap and made a bet on the market that is paying off.”

The leasing activity comes as the building is delivered to market, and will push plans for Phase II into active pre-construction.

Hajoca, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating and industrial supplies, took 10,126 square feet and RideNow Powersports took 15,611 square feet.
