Ariel Sells Morrisania Apartments from Larger Portfolio

Ariel Property Advisors recently closed on the sale of a three-building apartment portfolio in the Morrisania section of the Bronx. The 24-unit portfolio at 1130-1134 and 1142 Bryant Ave. sold for $5,850,000, or about $243,750 per unit.

The firm’s Jason M. Gold, Shimon Shkury, Daniel Mahfar and Oliver Elihu handled the sale of the portfolio. It came to market last November as part of a larger collection of mixed-use and multifamily properties across various Bronx neighborhoods.

Since the 10-building portfolio including 1130-1134 and 1142 Bryant went up for sale, Ariel has also listed a block-through retail assemblage at 1031 Westchester Ave. & 1057 Southern Blvd. in Morrisania. Gold and Mahfar are part of the team handling this assignment, which also includes Victor Sozio and Sean O’Brien. The seller is asking $26 million.
