Ariel Hosts Internship Programs for Legal Outreach, Chapin School

Ariel Property Advisors recently hosted its annual internship programs for Legal Outreach, a leader in pipeline diversity programs for youth in New York City, and The Chapin School, an all-girls independent day school located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

In both programs, students participated in an intensive, four-day commercial real estate course in which they were introduced to a wide range of topics, including the state of the New York City commercial real estate market, rent stabilization laws, real estate pricing metrics and how to present investments.

Concepts were illustrated through a variety of remote learning strategies, due to COVID-19, and students concluded the program with a mock presentation of an investment opportunity to Ariel’s partners, demonstrating a practical application of the concepts they learned.

The internships were led by investment sales analyst Kristen Ostach, EVP Michael Tortorici and representatives from Ariel’s investment sales, capital services and research divisions.
