ArentFox Schiff Relocates DC Headquarters to Midtown Center
Carr Properties announced that ArentFox Schiff, a national law firm, will relocate its Washington, D.C. headquarters to Midtown Center, Carr’s trophy office building located in downtown. ArentFox Schiff will occupy approximately 120,000 square feet of the 14-story building, taking three full floors within the East Tower as part of a long-term lease.
Arthur Greenberg, Thomas Fulcher and Adam Brecher of Savills represented ArentFox Schiff. Kaitlyn Rausse of Carr Properties represented the landlord in the deal. The ArentFox Schiff lease continues a period of significant leasing activity at the landmark property, which includes Fannie Mae’s new 340,000-square-foot, long-term lease and WeWork’s lease restructuring earlier this year.
Carr Properties completed the development of Midtown Center in 2017. It features two towers connected by three pedestrian bridges spanning 100 feet over the plaza below. Designed by SHoP Architects, the building offers amenities, including a fitness center, a yoga room, and a 1,300-square-foot bike room.
