ARCO Launches 1.2M-SF Build-to-Suit in Apple Valley

ARCO Design/Build broke ground on a 1,207,135-square-foot logistics facility in the Inland Empire for repeat client Lecangs. The $96-million development marks Apple Valley’s largest industrial project since 2018 and represents a significant expansion of Lecangs’ third-party logistics operations on the West Coast.

The project continues the multi-year partnership between ARCO and Lecangs. It features 40-foot clear heights with more than 200 dock doors engineered to optimize the flow of goods through Lecangs’ expanding logistics network. The facility will incorporate solar technology with battery storage capabilities.

“This groundbreaking represents a significant milestone for Lecangs and the entire Apple Valley community,” said Dan Croft, president of ARCO Jacksonville. “After recently completing successful projects for Lecangs on the East Coast, our team was able to leverage our national reach to provide the same level of expertise and execution in California.”

Construction is expected to take 14 months. Completion is targeted for the first quarter of 2026.
