Architecture Firm Leases Tampa WELL Gold-Certified Office

Strategic Property Partners, LLC has signed architecture firm Gensler to a new office lease at Thousand & One in Water Street Tampa. Gensler has committed to 10,803 square feet on the office tower’s second floor. The building is the first in Tampa to achieve WELL Core and Shell certification and is almost 90-percent leased. Thousand & One is also LEED Silver and WiredScore Platinum certified.

“We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be moving into our new home at Thousand & One later this year,” said Sarah Joubert, co-managing director of Gensler Tampa. “Downtown Tampa is experiencing an enormous transformation, and Gensler is proud to be part of the world’s first WELL Precertified Community.”

Thousand & One provides flexible floorplates and amenities including a fitness center, open-air conference room and rooftop terrace. Thousand & One’s certification and location are drawing tenants from sectors including architecture and design, finance, tech and legal services to the neighborhood.
