Archer Heights Industrial Sells to Local Buyer

A 44,500-square-foot industrial building, located at 4417 S. Springfield in the Southwest Side’s Archer Heights neighborhood, sold for $2 million. Beverly Hayes and John McDermott of SVN Chicago Commercial represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction.

“The buyer, a Chicago company, was attracted to the property because of its location and excellent loading capacity,” Hayes said. 4417 S. Springfield is 20 minutes from Downtown Chicago and 10 minutes from the Chicago International Produce Market.

Despite significant environmental hurdles, the sale was completed within six months of SVN Chicago listing the property, the company says.
