Appraisal Veteran D’Alessandro Joins CBRE’s Chicago Team

Michael D’Alessandro (pictured) has been named EVP with CBRE’s Valuation and Advisory Services (VAS) in Chicago. He has more than 25 years of experience as an appraiser within real estate valuation and advisory services in the multifamily sector.

D’Alessandro has experience working with a variety of multifamily property types and with clients ranging from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lenders to life companies and REITs. He will report to Les Linder, senior managing director in Chicago.

He joins CBRE from Colliers International and also served as a managing director with Butler Burgher Group. Earlier in his career, D’Alessandro led CBRE’s Midwest multifamily practice for 11 years.

“Having someone of Michael’s caliber back on our multifamily team will be a big boost to our regional activity,” said Linder. “He is one of the most experienced and accomplished appraisers in the multifamily sector, and our clients will benefit immensely from his expertise.”
