Apple Hospitality REIT Snags AC Hotel by Marriott in Maine for $67M

Apple Hospitality REIT Inc. has acquired the 178-room AC Hotel by Marriott in Portland, ME. The sales price was $66.8 million.

The hotel opened in summer 2018 and is located in Portland’s historic district near several cruise ship terminals. The hotel includes a fitness center and two food and beverage concepts.

After the acquisition, Apple’s hospitality portfolio now consists of 213 hotels with approximately 27,800 guest rooms in 35 states. The seller was not disclosed.
