Apple Claims Cupertino Office Complex for $290M

Cupertino-based Apple acquired two office buildings in Cupertino for a reported $290 million, from an affiliate of Los Angeles-based American Realty Advisors. The assets included Cupertino City Center 1 and Cupertino City Center 2, which together total 314,000 square feet. The selling entity was SVF Cupertino City Center Corp.

The buildings at 20300 Stevens Creek Blvd. and 20330 Stevens Creek Blvd. are within the Cupertino City Center development, a mixed-use property that includes office buildings, residences, restaurants and a hotel. The properties have housed operations of the technology company for years.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Eric Fox told the San Jose Mercury-News, “Apple really likes being in Cupertino, and this is a way for them to solidify their presence there.”
