Apartments + Theatre in Harlem

The National Black Theatre has partnered with L+M Development Partners to potentially redevelop its home into another giant, new, mixed-use tower in Manhattan’s Harlem neighborhood.

The theatre and L+M have applied for a zoning change to the site, on the corner of 125th St. and Fifth Ave., that would allow a new tower with more than 240,000 square-feet of space — enough room for 240 residential units and a new, 30,000-square-foot theatre for the National Black Theatre.

The local community board has already approved the plan, according to the Real Deal.
