Apartment Sale Illustrates East Village’s Investor Appeal

Avison Young’s Tri-State Investment Sales Group has arranged the sale of 47 Saint Marks Pl. for $6.14 million. The five-story multifamily building, which dates from 1900, includes 10 apartments across 7,990 square feet.

The team of Brandon Polakoff, principal & executive director of Tri-State Investment Sales, and Ryan McGuirl, a senior associate on the team, represented the seller, the Sobrino Family. They also procured the buyer, Davean Holdings.

“The sale of 47 Saint Marks Pl. is a strong indication of the continued multifamily investor interest in the East Village, with its close proximity to NYU and various mass transit options alluring a variety of demographics from students to professionals to families, making it an attractive investment opportunity,” said Polakoff.
