
Apartment Community in Sandy Springs Trades for $85M
Boston-based GID has acquired Windsor Chastain, a 322-unit apartment community in Sandy Springs for $85 million in an all-cash transaction.
Located at 225 Franklin Rd., the community features one and two-bedroom units ranging from 810 to 2,186 square feet. The community is located nearby the 268-acre Chastain Park. Amenities include a coffee bar, grilling stations, firepit, a pet spa and skyline views of Buckhead.
Originally called Chastain Heights, the community was developed by The Worthing Companies, the seller in the transaction. GID is active in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area. It is also the master developer on High Street Atlanta, a 30-acre mixed-use project near the Dunwoody Marta station.
