Anthony Tarter Joins Bellwether Enterprise; Oversees New Team
Anthony Tarter joined Bellwether Enterprise as Executive Vice President and Director of the company’s new Workforce Housing and Social Impact Team. Tarter comes to the Ohio-headquartered commercial and multifamily mortgage banking company’s Dallas office from PGIM Real Estate Finance.
In his new role, Tarter, who has been joined by Assistant Vice President Drew Oden, will be responsible for direct loan originations through Bellwether’s debt and equity programs, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS and exclusive life insurance company investors. He brings more than 17 years of experience to the job. In addition to PGIM, he has had executive positions at Arbor Commercial Mortgage and PNC Financial Services Group.
Tarter received his undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from Abilene Christian University, and is actively engaged with Habitat for Humanity. He also spends time educating the commercial real estate industry about the importance of social impact programs, and preserving workforce housing in U.S. markets, including Opportunity Zones.
