Another Middle School Coming to College Station

The College Station Independent School District Board gave its okay to move forward with construction of the district’s third middle school. The total project cost of the development will be $51.4 million, representing the district’s second-largest project behind College Station High School’s construction. The project is being paid for by a $135.9 million bond passed by voters last year.

Pepper Lawson Construction of Houston is the general contractor of the facility, which will be near Wellborn Road and Greens Prairie Trail. The middle school is scheduled for a fall 2018 opening, and expected to host more than 900 students.
