Ankura Doubles Up at 485 Lex, 8 Months After Move-In

Having begun at 12,000 square feet within SL Green Realty Corp.’s portfolio, Ankura Consulting will now occupy nearly five times that amount. The business advisory firm relocated from SL Green’s 750 Third Ave. to the REIT’s 485 Lexington Ave. this past January with 29,574 square feet, and has now signed a 15-year lease for an additional floor there. This brings its 485 Lexington footprint to 59,272 square feet.

“This is the third lease with Ankura Consulting we’ve completed over the past 18 months, and affirms our desire to work collaboratively with our tenants to accommodate their rapidly changing space needs,” said SL Green’s Steve Durels. “Ankura is a highly valued relationship, and it was a team effort working with their broker from JLL to structure this fast-moving transaction.“

JLL’s Don Preate represented Ankura. His JLL colleagues Paul Glickman, Ben Bass, Diana Biasotti and Jon Fanuzzi advised the landlord.
